Using
Websites to Increase Your Ministry
The Christian Faculty ministry
in Poland has seen God use the website they created as a way to connect
with other Christian faculty – many
of whom felt isolated as Christian professors. Here’s how their
website helped one professor:
2003
March – Website
launched by Christian Faculty Fellowship in Warsaw: www.chfpn.pl
April – Margaret,
an education professor at a university in Gdansk, discovers the ministry
through viewing their website and contacts them.
May – Margaret
meets Christian faculty members while visiting in Warsaw.
2004
March – Margaret
invites Rae Mellichamp to speak at her university. She discusses starting
their own Christian Faculty Fellowship in Gdansk.
April – Margaret
visits Brzesc, Belarus for a scientific conference. She meets Lidia,
a psychology professor, and discovers she also is a Christian. Margaret
invites her to the “Scientists and
God” conference in Poland in June.
June – Lidia
attends the conference with Margaret, and presents a lecture on the importance
of a worldview in the work of psychologists.
2005
March – Lidia
and Margaret have worked with the CFF of Warsaw and planned for Christian
professors from the U.S. to speak both in Warsaw and Belarus.
